With regard to Deaf & Disabled People In TV (DDPTV) considering my potential participation in an Event, Scheme and/or Session, I agree as follows:
Agreement
I agree that I may need to execute additional waivers and releases including, but not limited to, a contributor release form (the “Contributor Release”) and other agreements and/or documents as required by DDPTV.
1) Representations, Warranties and Acknowledgements:
• I warrant and agree that I have read and agree to be bound by the Eligibility Requirements set out below.
• I am aged 18 or over at the time of submitting the application.
• I am a DDPTV Member.
• I understand only ONE entry per person is permitted, and group applications are not permitted at this time.
• If my application is successful; I warrant and agree to DDPTV sharing my full application form, including but not limited to, my full name, contact information, application, bio, photos, and special category data with 3rd Party organisations DDPTV is collaborating with for the event/session/scheme.
• I warrant and agree to DDPTV sharing my full name, job tile, bio and photos with the other successful attendees, such as but not limited to, schedules, updates, and other event/session/scheme literature.
• I warrant and agree selected entrants maybe made public and entrants must agree to take part in any post-event, event, scheme or session feedback.
2) I warrant and agree that any information I have provided, whether in the application form or otherwise, is truthful, complete, accurate and not misleading; and that I will notify DDPTV in the event any information and/or data provided at any time is incorrect and/or requires updating.
3) I understand and agree that if any information supplied by me is found to be inaccurate, misleading, incomplete or false, it will be grounds for terminating my immediate involvement in the event, session or scheme I have applied for.
4) I understand due to the high number of applications DDPTV is not always able to reply to unsuccessful applicants.
5) I understand that any trademarks, logos, graphics, photographs, videos and tests featured on the DDPTV website and/or in the Event, Session or Scheme remain DDPTV’s intellectual property and may not be reproduced, used or represented without DDPTVs express permission.
Obligations
6) You also confirm you comply with each of the eligibility requirements set out in the Entry Form (the “Eligibility Requirements”) and, if required by us, you will provide us with evidence to confirm any of the information provided in your Entry Form. Nothing in your Entry Form and/or the Materials will infringe any data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (both as amended, replaced or repealed from time to time); that nothing in your Entry Form and/or the Materials will infringe any copyright or any other right of any person, breach any contract or duty of confidence, constitute a contempt of court, be defamatory, and/or otherwise bring us, DDPTV or any other party into disrepute; and you will comply with all other relevant laws in connection with your submission of your Entry Form and Materials.
7) You accept that your application is for an opportunity to participate only. Compliance with these T&Cs and any further correspondence with us and/or participation in selection activities (which may include a email, phone call or Zoom conversation with a member of the DDPTV team and/or attending a meeting and/or recording an interview) does not constitute an offer to attend any Event, Scheme and/or Session or guarantee your appearance in any materials or guarantee that the Event, Scheme and/or Session will take place.
8) These Application Terms and Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Confidentiality
9) I agree to keep strictly confidential and will not, at any time, directly or indirectly, disclose any documents, conversations, information, or photographs concerning the Event, Session or Scheme’s development, and/or information relating to any of Releasees’ creative and business affairs.
General.
10) The rights granted to DDPTV in this Agreement are freely assignable and licensable by DDPTV.
11) To the extent permitted by law, I hereby waive any and all potential claims for, and acknowledge and agree to release the Releasees from, any loss, damage, injury, claim, cost or expense of any kind arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Programme application.
12) Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to reapply, even if they have submitted applications in the past. DDPTV welcomes the submission of the same materials previously presented and extend this invitation to include materials submitted for other events, schemes or sessions with DDPTV.
13) DDTPV reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any stage, including changing or substituting the selection process and the event opportunities. Events may be subject to change, such as changes to original schedules, dates, or themes. DDPTV will of course notify *successful* applicants of any changes if this were to happen. Apologies in advance, due to the high number of applications and fast turnaround, we are not always able to reply to unsuccessful applicants.
14) These Application Terms and Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
